Cloud service and open-source software
Detent Cloud provides hosted collaboration and coordination for your organization. The Detent software is separately distributed under the MIT license. These service terms do not replace that license or restrict the rights it grants for self-hosted use.
You must be legally able to agree to these terms. If you use Cloud for an organization, you must have authority to act for it. Your use of Google, WorkOS, Stripe, repository hosts, and model providers is also subject to the applicable provider agreements.
Accounts and organization access
Provide accurate account information and protect your authentication sessions, runner credentials, and integration access. You are responsible for the actions you authorize through your account and configured runners. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.
Organization owners and administrators manage memberships, project access, and configuration. Only connect repositories, machines, services, and data that you have permission to use. Keep the permissions you grant appropriate to the work you intend Detent to perform.
Your content and automated work
You retain your rights in the content you submit. You give us permission to store, process, display, and transmit that content as needed to provide the service, including to authorized organization members and the providers configured for your work. You are responsible for having the rights and permissions needed to submit it.
Detent can coordinate agents that modify files, run commands, and interact with connected services. You control their configuration and authorization. Generated output can be incorrect or unsafe; review the work and choose appropriate tests, approval gates, and access limits before relying on it or deploying it.
Acceptable use
Use the service lawfully and respect other people's rights. Do not attempt unauthorized access, steal credentials, disrupt the service, distribute malicious software, or bypass another organization's permissions or service limits.
We may restrict or suspend access when needed to address abuse, a security incident, a legal requirement, or a violation of these terms. Contact us if you believe access has been restricted in error.
Plans and billing
Any paid Cloud plan is offered with its price and billing details at checkout. Review those details before purchasing. Stripe processes payments and subscription management. Model-provider charges and the costs of your machines or other connected services are separate from Cloud hosting charges.

Availability and ending use
Cloud and its integrations depend on software, networks, and external providers. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, error-free operation, or the accuracy of generated work. Keep copies of information you need and review the permissions and actions of your configured agents.
You may stop using the service at any time. Contact us to request account or organization closure, or to discuss access to your data. Data handling after closure is described in the Privacy Policy. Nothing in these terms excludes rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.
Changes and contact
We publish revised terms here with an updated effective date. Changes apply to use of the service after that date. If you disagree with revised terms, stop using Cloud and contact us about closing your account.
